Founded in 2008 and nestled in the foothills of Western Maine, Pleasant Hill Property Services has quickly established itself as a high-quality garden, landscape and property management company. Our services reflect our passion for and love of flower and shrub gardens, natural stone and decorative stone work (patios, walls, pathways and steps), the earth and providing highly reliable and responsible four-season property care, maintenance, and management.
Pleasant Hill is a proud and active member of the Maine Landscape & Nursery Association (MELNA). We currently are serving on the committee that will organize and establish the new Maine Flower Show, set for early spring of 2017 at Thompson Point in Portland, Maine. We are also a local champion of the MELNA's new Plant-Something! Plant-Maine! Program and you will start seeing and hearing more about this throughout Maine soon!
We are certified in Erosion & Sedimentation Control Practices by the Department of Enviromental Protection. What does this mean? It enables us as a landscape contractor to develop outdoor living projects within shoreland areas, especially within 75 feet of a lake, pond, or river.
Did you know that Norway was voted one of the eight best places to live in Maine by DownEast magazine in their March 2015 issue? Norway Downtown continues to become a vibrant, fun place to visit, whether to eat or shop, with such wonderful venues as Norway Brewing Company, Fiber & Vine, Cafe Nomad, and Green Machine Bike Shop.
There are many wonderful summertime events ahead, like the Norway Arts Festival, the Norway Triathlon, and First Friday art walk and wine tastings!
Pleasant Hill is committed to caring for the Main Street garden areas and we support our local businesses whenever possible. The Norway area is rich with beautiful hiking, skiing trails & snowshoe, such as Roberts Farm Preserve and Witt Swamp Preserve, as well as the home to many lakes and ponds. We hope to see you in Norway!
